Lynne Andrews
draws, paints, photographs and writes about wild and remote landscapes.
A trained art teacher, Lynne conducted her own Studio One school of painting and drawing for 22 years. An Honorary Associate, she currently lectures on the imaging of Antarctica at the University of Tasmania in Hobart.
While researching her recent book Antarctic Eye: The Visual Journey, Lynne made air and sea voyages to Antarctica, travelling as far south as the Ross Sea and the South Magnetic Pole. On her most recent voyage she was artist in residence for the Theme Polar Arts Program.
